This Life
Being a Christian is not without it’s challenges. Yes, it’s all about Jesus, but the process of sanctification for each person is unique and mysterious. How do we share our experiences, lessons, or epiphany’s? Sometimes we share in a group setting, to strangers on the bus or the train, other times they just might get lost or shuffled, because the lessons – they is always a changin’.
This world is changing.
The terror attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11 changed a lot we’ve taken for granted. The flip flop of the economy put many out of their homes and out of work. Since the Christian majority does not appear to be the majority anymore, perhaps missionaries for America are what’s called for now?
When I look at our brothers and sisters across the nations and see their struggles, some actually dying martyr deaths, others struggling just to own a copy of God’s Word, I know America is in deep spiritual trouble. So, I will write, now, prayerfully, of course. I will work to spread the Word as much as I am able. Freely I have received, now I must freely give (Mat 10:8).
For example, when I wrote the post on What happened to Judas, it was the result of God’s blessing to me in answering years of prayer. It’s baffling to me the way good people can take their salvation for granted. I think Judas took his salvation for granted and God surprised him with having an entirely different purpose planned for his life than the one he thought He did. That puts the Fear of God into me. For years I’ve been praying about it, asking the Lord, “What happened to Judas? What were the warning signs?”
Lk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Understanding that Judas was enslaved answered many questions for me. It has helped me, so I hope it and other posts might help someone else, also. Above all, Spread the Word.
I hope you know Jesus Christ.
God bless you.
Peace out!
I have such a strong agreement with this post. I see our country taking so many steps away from God. Unfortunately I also see the results of us turning our backs on Him.
