Breathingbook

Hi there! Welcome to Breathing Book. You may have noticed the title and slogan, Breathing Book: It breathes and it’s all about Jesus. Allow me to give a bit of background on why I chose that.

The book – the only book – that actually breathes is God’s Holy Word. I say that because every time I turn to God’s Word, I gain something new from it that speaks to me and directly into whatever my life’s situation is at the time.

Well, a lot has happened since the formation of the website. The Bible studies have transformed me and if you go through the posts you can probably see that for yourself. I am humbled by the things God has shown me. I am also continually amazed how when I’m posed with not knowing what to write about a particular thing, how God faithfully delivers the insights that expound and grow upon themselves.

So the blog in itself has continued to “breathe” on me. I guess that’s primarily because it’s not based on me, but entirely upon God’s Word. In other words, the blog itself “breathes” and changes in itself. It moves wherever the studies take us, and I believe with all my heart that’s a testimony to the way of the Holy Spirit is moving through it.

Jn 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

As for the title, I’m supposing God knew how all this “breathing” was going to happen from the very beginning. He does that. Often.
