How to Select Close Caption Language on Videos
Hi. Here’s a brief video to turn on the “Close Captioning” for the videos I produce for BreathingBook.
- First, start the video.
- Look for the “CC” button and select it (it will turn red when selected).
- Then, hover your mouse over the red “CC” until you see a window pop up.
- English is set as the language by default.
- Move your mouse up to “Translate Captions BETA”. Select it with your mouse.
- If the video stops, just restart the video and try again.
- Once “Translate Captions BETA” is selected, you’ll see a new black popup that says Translate BETA in the corner.
- The first language listed is Afrikaans – Afrikaans. Click on this to open the scrolling window.
- Move your mouse down a little and then use your up and down arrow keys to scroll to your desired language. Once it’s highlighted in red, use your mouse to select it.
- Click okay.
I hope this helps. If there’s some sort of problem, please leave me a comment and I’ll see if I can address it.
Peace out!
Loris
